Scan-O-Gram

I used a scanner to create these. The first one is a straight scan. We had to bring in items and set them on the scanner to create something just using one scan. Photoshop was not allowed for this project. On the other hand, the second picture is made from separate scanned objects: a photo book (for the pattern), umbrella, sand, necklace, and a net bag. The doll is the only thing that came from a photograph. For this project, I was able to use Photoshop to combine these items and create this picture. It took a while to plan how I was going to arrange the items. The composition changed quite a few times before I finally came up this one, which I was happy about.
