I enjoyed taking my friend's engagement pictures a couple days ago. I'm so happy for her and her fiance; they are so cute together. I can't wait to be one of her bridesmaids and celebrate the special day with them. Oh, happy day!
Finally! I've been wanting to take my sister's family pictures forever...well ever since little Trevor was born. We finally got them done just in time for Christmas cards. Love you Garrett's!
I didn't realize how hard it was to get three little boys to get to look at me at the same time. But it was fun seeing their energy as they played, posed for the camera, and had a good time with their mom and dad. Such a wonderful family!
4 months older from the last post of him...a couple new teeth, able to crawl and stand, and tries to talk. This makes it a little more difficult taking pictures of this little guy, but when I'm able to capture a cute smile, laugh, or silly face it's totally worth it. I love him!
These were taken at the Golden Spike Awards. A good friend of mine was on the planning committee for the award ceremony and got me this little photography assignment. This event was such a great learning experience. I was planning on just be a fly on the wall; just take pictures, don't get in anyone's way, and get the job done. I'll definitely be more prepared with business cards and possibly do a little research of the purpose of the event, who I'm taking pictures for, the surroundings, and such next time.
I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho with a BS degree in art. I have an emphasis in Graphic Design with clusters in Photography and Communications. I grew up in California, Indiana, and Utah. I love the outdoors especially when I have a camera in hand. I also like to read, scrapbook, and be with my family and friends.
I’ve been working on a project called Project 365. I started on May 5, 2010 and will end May 5, 2011. I am going to try my best to take at least one photo a day for a year. The photos include events, interests, family/friends…pretty much anything and everything. Since my laptop was dropped it hasn’t been the best at downloading, so I won’t be able to upload as often as I’d like, but all the photos will be found at www.simplyhaven.com. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much I do taking them!
